Dupont Circle

Lively and energetic, Dupont Circle is distinctively “Washingtonian”. Centered around a monumental park with ornate details, this vibrant neighborhood is home to some of the city’s finest museums and historic homes. There is perhaps no better place in the city to congregate on a nice sunny day than the lively urban park, which will attract a diverse group of picnickers, sunbathers, mothers with strollers, performers, and people looking to catch a game of chess at one of the many tables.

The Dupont Circle neighborhood is the most cosmopolitan in Washington, complete with ethnic restaurants, art galleries, bookstores, embassies, offices, and homes. It is a magnet for residents and visitors attracted by its lively urban lifestyle, diversity, and unique blend of architectural styles. Even with all this activity, Dupont Circle remains on of the most personable and intimate places in the city.
